How you will contribute
Valmont is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for the Custodian position in the McCook Irrigation Division. We are looking for a highly driven individual that will be responsible for general housekeeping services in and around the facility. Additionally, you will
Sanitize and clean up restrooms, kitchen, lunchroom, work areas, outside grounds, floors, doors and walls
Replace light bulbs, refill dispensers and empty trash bins
Set up for facility meetings, classrooms and other company sponsored events
What it takes
Required Qualifications
A basic working knowledge of using e-mail
The ability to climb both stairs and ladders
The ability to lift, pull or push up to fifty pounds and up to twenty pounds for thirty percent of the shift
The ability to twist, bend and squat
The ability to reach both outward and above the head
The ability to work over scheduled hours when required for business needs
Highly qualified candidates will also possess:
High school diploma / GED
Prior working experience with a janitorial, cleaning or maintenance position
Passion and integrity with the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results
